Virginia Rinehart
January 27, 1938 - February 9, 2009
Virginia Lee Rinehart, age 71, of Albia, passed away peacefully at her home in Albia, Saturday morning, February 7, 2009, surrounded by her family. Virginia was born on January 27, 1938, in Albia, Iowa to Milo and Icle (Kellogg) Major. Virginia attended and graduated from Albia High School. After high school Virginia married Franklin Rinehart on August 18, 1956. To this union two children were born. Virginia was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia. Her passion was her family and her home. The home she shared with Frank for over forty years was the same home she dreamed she would own as a child. It was her great pride to live and raise her family here. She told everyone the only way she was leaving her home was if they carried her off her corner. She enjoyed family gatherings and her grandchildren told her they were all going to live in her backyard when they grew up so they could be close to her and grandpa. She enjoyed anything that meant spending time with her family, whether it was playing cards,; going to see her grandkids sports, plays, and concerts; or just enjoying the company of the people she loved. Virginia is survived by her husband, of 52 years Franklin; her children, Franklin ?David? Rinehart and his wife Wendy, Vicky Beary and her husband Bernard, six grandchildren, Jeremiah Rinehart, Joel Beary, Zachary Rinehart, Nicholas Beary, Jessica Rinehart, and Matthew Beary; and two great grandchildren, Emma and Charles (Charlie) Rinehart. Virginia is also survived by her sister, Pat Hopkins and her husband Jim. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents Milo and Icle; three Brothers, Donnie, Ken, and (infant) Billy; and sisters, Sally Remy and Barb Kirk.
