Ted Whitlatch Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ted Steven Whitlatch son of Hugh and Germaine (Hart) Whitlatch was born on November 7, 1951 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He passed away on August 28, 2012 at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, at the age of 60. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012, at the Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville, with Pastor Vicki Steffes officiating. Burial will follow services at Olive Chapel Cemetery of Rural Marion County. Visitation for Ted will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30th, also at the Winfield Funeral Home. Ted?s family will be present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Ted enjoyed collecting model tractors, putting puzzles together, and working on the family farm. Ted was also a member of the Olive Chapel Methodist Church. He is survived by his parents Hugh and Germaine Whitlatch of rural Knoxville; and his sister Sharon Allspach (Stan) of Baxter. Ted is also survived by his niece Angie Pietig (Chad) and their daughter, Payton; and his nephew Aaron Allspach (Jessica) and their daughter, Kaylee; and many relatives and friends.
