Kevin Michael Moore Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kevin Michael Moore, age 59, of Knoxville passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Emergency Room. Kevin was born May 16, 1955 in Osage, Iowa the son of Michael Peter and Shirley LaVonne (Buttolph) Moore. Kevin was a 1974 graduate of Osage High School. After graduation Kevin enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from July of 1974 to August of 1977. After his service Kevin attended and graduated with a AA Degree from Northern Iowa Area Community College before re-enlisting into the armed services. As a younger man Kevin was an amateur boxer and enjoyed watching the sport. Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Shirley. He is survived by his two brothers, Mark Moore of Osage, Brian Moore of Windsor, Colorado; and one sister, Shawna Ferguson of Spokane, Washington. Kevin is also survived by two nieces, Taylor Ferguson and Kathryn Moore and two nephews, Guy Ferguson and Nolan Moore. Kevin has been cremated and a memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery of Adel, Iowa. Condolences may be sent to www.winfieldfh.com.
