Gary Rowley

June 27, 1960 - April 20, 2011

Gary Lee Rowley, age 50, of Waterloo formerly of Moravia and Ottumwa, passed away at his home in Waterloo on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Gary was born June 27, 1960 to Earl and Blanche (Rouse) Rowley in Ottumwa, Iowa. Gary graduated from Moravia High School, class of 1978. Through the years Gary held various jobs. He worked with the railroad, a motor coach bus company, as a pipe fitter, and also as a crane operator. He enjoyed squirrel hunting, camping, fishing, boating, and especially spending time with his family and friends. Gary is survived by his mother Blanche Rowley; his sister Lou Ellen (Jim) Swinney; two brothers Harold (Teresa) Rowley and Jimmie (Marilyn) Rowley. Gary is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his father Earl Rowley. A private family graveside memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday April 26, 2011 at Oak View Cemetery in Albia, with Rev.
